A 6-meter industrial planer milling machine is used for machining large-dimension parts that don't fit in conventional machines. It's ideal for resurfacing industrial engine blocks, agricultural machine heads, heavy equipment bases and metal structures. The PF - 6.0 E has a 236x29 inch (6000x730mm) table supporting up to 12,125 lb (5500kg), allowing work on truck components, tractors, generators and large stationary engines with precision and professional finishing.

The PF-6.0E planer milling machine has normal machining capacity of 236x39x39 inches (6000x1000x1000mm), with standard table 236x29 inches (6000x730mm) expandable to 236x39 inches (6000x1000mm) optional. Supports up to 12,125 lb (5500kg) distributed weight and offers variable speed 2.4-98 IPM (60-2500mm/min) via inverter. Useful longitudinal travel is 236 inches (6000mm), with 5hp table advance motor. Column clearance is 39x39 inches (1000x1000mm) normal, with options up to 87x39 inches (2200x1000mm).

The PF - 6.0 E table milling machine accepts ISO 40 or ISO 50 tapers in the main milling head R-12, according to customer specification. The lateral head R-2 works with ISO 40 taper. Both allow using a wide variety of cutting tools for different planing and milling operations. The main head offers 12 speeds divided in two ranges: 85-550 rpm (5hp) and 160-1100 rpm (8hp), with 45° lateral inclination to each side.

The planer milling machine with automatic feed, like the PF-6.0E, offers constant controlled speed 2.4-98 IPM (60-2500mm/min) via inverter, ensuring uniform finish and higher productivity. Manual feed requires operator constantly turning handwheel, causing speed variation and irregular finish. Automatic allows precise control of material removal rate, less operator fatigue and ability to work heavy parts safely, being essential for precision work and production.

The system works with the part fixed on the moving table that travels longitudinally under controlled speed, while the milling head remains stationary. The cutting tool rotates in the head and removes material from surface as table advances. The PF - 6.0 E allows depth adjustment through vertical crossrail, head lateral inclination up to 45°, and speeds 2.4-98 IPM (60-2500mm/min). Automatic lubrication system maintains precision of prismatic guides during operation.

Maintenance includes automatic lubrication of prisms which is standard on PF-6.0E, periodic verification of 4 gal (15L) cooling system, guide cleaning and table alignment checking. Motors are protected by fuses and electrical travel limiter should be tested regularly. Important to check cutting tool wear, calibrate inverter speeds and inspect hydraulic system of feeds. Weight of 20,945 lb (9500kg) requires adequate foundation and constant leveling.
